Nick Cannon’s enormous family has fascinated fans for years — but one question keeps coming up: What is the relationship actually like between the women who share children with him?
Bre Tiesi has now offered one of her most candid answers yet.
The Selling Sunset star, who shares son Legendary Love with Cannon, opened up about what really happens behind the scenes when it comes to the mothers of Cannon’s children.
And her answer makes one thing very clear:
The reality is far more complicated than people on the outside might imagine.

Nick Cannon has fathered 12 children with six women, creating one of the most talked-about family structures in Hollywood.
Because several of his children are close in age, fans have often wondered whether their mothers coordinate schedules, spend time together, or operate as one large extended family.
According to Tiesi, however, that picture does not accurately describe what happens behind the scenes.
Bre Tiesi Finally Answered the Question
During a recent appearance on E!’s Hot Goss, Tiesi was asked about navigating relationships with the other mothers.
Her response was remarkably direct.
“There is no we — we don’t balance anything,” she said.
Tiesi explained that she has tried to maintain positive relationships but that creating a closer bond between all of the adults has proven difficult.
She said there have been attempts in the past, but the relationships between the mothers have sometimes become too complicated.

Despite those difficulties, Tiesi said she wants something very different for the kids themselves.
She wants Legendary to have relationships with his brothers and sisters.
Rather than allowing tensions between adults to interfere with those sibling connections, Tiesi said she is willing to step back.
Her goal is for the children to be able to build their own relationships regardless of what happens between their mothers.
She Says Nick Cannon Has an Important Role
Tiesi also made it clear that she does not believe organizing the entire family should fall on the mothers.
Instead, she said Cannon needs to help create an environment where his children can spend time together and maintain their sibling relationships.
That distinction appears to be important to her.
The mothers may not operate as one big co-parenting group, but Tiesi still wants the children to have the opportunity to know one another.

Tiesi also addressed whether she plans to have more children.
Her answer was clear: she currently does not plan to expand her family further.
Instead, she joked that Legendary already has plenty of siblings to spend time with.
For Tiesi, the focus now appears to be on raising her son and allowing him to develop relationships within his unusually large extended family.
Nick Cannon Has Also Spoken About His Family
Cannon has previously discussed how his family grew so quickly.
In 2025, he said that after his divorce from Mariah Carey he threw himself into work and did not properly deal with some of what he was feeling at the time.
Looking back, Cannon acknowledged that he might have handled parts of that period differently.
At the same time, he emphasized his love for his children and said he stands by his responsibility toward his family.
